Switzerland have taken victory in the BMO Nation’s Cup at Spruce Meadows, Calgary by triumphing on Canadian soil ahead of Brazil in a jump-off.
The Swiss team was made up as follows: Werner Muff, Alain Jufer, Nadja Peter Steiner and Steve Guerdat. Runners-up Brazil competed as follows: Eduardo Menezes, Yuri Mansur Guerios, Felipe Amaral and Pedro Veniss.
The final podium slot went to the hosts who were in action with Tiffany Foster, Kara Chad, Amy Millar and Eric Lamaze.
In the individual event meanwhile Ireland’s Cian o’Connor claimed the Suncor Energy Cup over 1.50m with O’Grady. Italy’s Lorenzo De Luca didn’t disappoint and came fifth with Limestone Grey.
All eyes now turn towards the highly anticipated second leg of the Rolex GP.
