Valle dei Mulini event opens in spectactular fashion

The red tape was cut at the first Catanzaro Province Equestrian challenge at the Valle dei Mulini on Thursday.It promises to be an exciting weekend programme in Calabria with some of the top names in the Equestrian world taking part and some 150,000 Euro in prize money up for grabs.Amongst those present were President of the Province Wanda Ferro, Senator. Maurizio Gasparri, the Honourable. Michele Traversa, Senator. Filippo Berselli, Sen. Vincenzo Speziali, Hob. Doris Lo Moro, the Perfect of Catanzaro Sandro Calvosa, The Procurator
of the Republic Vincenzo Antonio Lombardo, the Mayor of Catanzaro Rosario Olivo and Monsignore Antonio Ciliberti.Representing the world of sport and the Italian Equestrian Federation were National President, Andrea Paulgross and Calabria Regional President Roberto Cardona.The famous Carabinieri mounted band were in evidence to add further colour to the spectactular opening ceremony.
