Gregory Wathelet jumped his way to victory yesterday at the Leipzig GP for the FEI World Cup. The rider was in action with the 11 year-old grey mare Coree (Cornet Obolensky / Liberty Life) and gave a faultless display during the jump-off in a time of 41.77 seconds.
Following closely behind in second spot was France’s Kevin Staut with his trusted mount Reveur de Hurtebise HDC (Kashmir van Schuttershof / Capricieux Des 6 Censes) thanks to a time of 41.94 seconds. The final podium slot meanwhile went to Niklas Krieg of Germany who was competing with Carella (Clearway / Concerto 4).
The only Italian representative was Alberto Zorzi with the Azzurri star taking to the field with Fair Light van’t Heik (Vigo d’Arsouilles / Darco ) for a final position of 24th.
