With the autumn breeding season behind us, the equestrian sector is primed for the indoor and exhibition season. Here below we check out what is on the agenda for the month of December:
PARIS, FRANCE
Let’s begin with the French capital, which despite the recent tragic events, will still be holding the prestigious Salon du Cheval de Paris at the exhibition halls at Parc des Expositions in Villepinte (Paris) from the 3-6 of December 2015.
Another must for all equestrian fans is the first stage of the 5-star Longines Masters Grand Slam (www.longinesmastersgrandslam.com) and the La Nuit du Cheval dedicated to equestrian art and which this year offers the “Les Etalons D’Alexis“ show created by Alexis Gruss. For the online ticket-office and info see here: http://nuitducheval.francebillet.com/?_lang=en
Focusing back to the Salon du Cheval, a whopping 150.000 people paid a visit last year and over 450 exhibitors are expected to be on hand to present all the novelties from the equestrian sector. One of these is the trophy handed out at the exhibition to the most innovative design, service or product in the form of the Trophèes de l’Innovation du Salon du Cheval de Paris.
The renowned exhibition covers everything you can imagine from the equestrian sector and you can read more by clicking here: http://en.salon-cheval.com/
SALZBURG, AUSTRIA
At the same time as the legendary Paris exhibition, Austria will be staging the Mevisto Amadeus Horseindoor at the Messezentrum Salzburg.
Just like in the French capital, there will be plenty of international competitions too such as the CSI4* show-jumping, CSI reserved for U25s, CDI4* dressage and CVI-W vaulting.
Another interesting event is the AGILITY DOG – a must for all dog-lovers- and Austria will be hosting the latest leg of the World Cup of the discipline. To continue, there is also plenty of entertainment on hand for the fans starting with the internationally renowned French artist Lorenzo, also known as “The Flying Frenchman“ with “The Crazy Turnados“, the multi-talented Leo Holcknechts, local artist Stefanie Millinger and the dog-show Sportart Jump and Dance led by Mica Koppel.
