Breeding: First Holsteiner event in Germany

One of the big equestrian breeding events of the season is most definitely Holsteiner Korung which takes place every year at Elmshorn.
The 2015 edition starts today with the first presentation of the Holsteiner horses of the Elite Reitpferde Kollektion 2015 catalog that will then go up for auction on October 29 and 30 in Neumunster.
The official opening of the event is at 7pm in the Fritz-Thiedermann hall with horses between the ages of 3 and 6 attending. There will be offsprings of some illustrious jumpers like Casall, Clearway, Diarado and Quidam de Revel.
Starting from today the horses from the catalog can be tested on appointment by potential buyers until October 23rd.
Also around 60 foals will be presentes and tested for stallion approval.

13th October 2015: initial presentation of the Elite Reitpferde ad Elmshorn catalog.
24th October 2015: second and last presentation of the Elite Reitpferde ad Elmshorn catalog.
29-31 October 2015: Holsteiner Korung and the start of the auction for the Elite Reitpferde kollektion catalog in Neumunster.
6th February 2015: Holsteiner stallion approval in Neumunster
