Endurance: Kreuth at double speed

A medal always has two sides, just as the Italian mood in endurance.
At Kreuth in Germany on Saturday the CEI 2 and 3* were raced in a magical setting both from a historical and naturalistic perspective. The double-faced aspect was shown by the second place earned by Andrea Iacchelli on Gustav Baio in the 120km and sixth place from Simona Garatti, Italian champion 2008, in the 160km on the positive side and on the negative by number of riders eliminated, 10 out of 15. Also Alessandro Lattanzio finished the CEI2* but down the pack.
