FEI Rankings: Brash goes from strength to strength.
Scott Brash is hogging all the headlines once again.
The Scottish star is continuing to enjoy a golden moment which shows no sign of slowing down. After writing his name in the show-jumping history books and becoming the first person to win every leg of the Rolex Grand Slam, Brash’s hold of the FEI ranking leadership is still firmly in his hands.
The 29 year-old leads the standings on 3000 points and has dominated the charts for over half a year. In fact, apart from a brief period of just one month last year, when Germany’s Daniel Deusser held the leadership, Brash has made first place his own and has led the way for the past six straight months.
Thanks also to a string of wins lately, he leads the rankings ahead of US horsewoman Beezie Madden in second (2696) and the aforementioned Daniel Deusser down to third on 2625 points. Keep a close eye on Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet who is just 5 points behind a podium finish. McLain Ward on the other hand has jumped from ninth to fifth on 2609 points, but has fellow US rider Kent Farrington chasing behind on 2595 points.
Holding firm in seventh place we find Bertram Allen with 2544 points while Simon Delestre maintains eighth place with 2538 points. Just behind the Frenchman in ninth is another rider from France, Penelope Leprevost, on 2454 points whereas Ludger Beerbaum, who slips from fourth place, rounds up the top-ten on 2443 points. The best ranked Italian rider is Emanuele Gaudiano in 23rd place. Click here for more: https://data.fei.org/Ranking/Search.aspx?rankingCode=S_WR
