France and Canada to stage 5 star events.

It is that time of the week when we look ahead to the major events taking place from the world of showjumping and there are two 5 star events in Canada and Europe respectively that catch the eye.
The Canadian 5 star event comes in the form of the North American CSI5*, the show-jumping competition which marks the end of the Spruce Meadows summer trials in Calgary.(
Focusing closer to home, and Paris is the destination of the latest stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour. The tournament launched by Jan Tops is now at the halfway stage of the season and brings the very best that show-jumping has to offer to the splendid French capital.
However, there will be no Italian riders taking part in France. Instead, here is the full list:

Moving away from France, and there are other competitions scheduled over the coming days. One of these is in Arnhem, Holland for the CSI3* Outdoor Gelderland in which 6 Italian riders will be present. They are as follows: Antonio Alfonso, Marta Bottanelli, Piergiorgio Bucci, Lorenzo De Luca, Juan Carlos Garcia and Andre Sakakini. Here is the complete list of riders taking part:
Arnhem is also set to play host to the CDI4*, a competition in which Italy’s hopes will depend on Silvia Rizzo. See here for more:
To wrap up our round-up, Russia and USA are both staging 3 star events in Saint Petersburg and Tryon respectively.
