Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show: CSI5* in St. Tropez

The second edition of the Longines Athina Onassis, on the white sands of St Tropez, will soon be taking place with 119 riders and roughly 200 horses set to take place in what is a five star event for three days of competition from 4-7 June. The total prize money is 561,000 euro.
There are numerous events to look out for like the Prix Midway Labs and the Prix Julius Baer, both with prize money of 91,500 euro, the Prix Giorgio Armani is on the Saturday while the highly anticipated Longines Grand Prix is on the Sunday.
The Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show is just one of many events that enrighes the prestigious collection France has of equestrian competitions. This is considered the third most prestigious competition in France after Bordeaux and La Baule, ahead of even other well knows locations such as Cannes, Paris, Chantilly, Dinard and Lyon.
The first horses have already started arriving and having the check-up with the vets. The action starts tomorrow and will be shown live on classhorse tv.
