The first day of the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show in Saint Tropez came to an end with a win for Brazil’s Pedro Veniss with Rissoa d’Ag Bois Margot in the Prix ville de Ramtuelle. By riding to victory in the competition, the Brazilian follows in the footsteps of French star Julien Epaillard who won the competition last year.

The other 5 star trial taking place, the Prix Midwaylabs over 1.50m, was won by Morocco’s Abdelkebir Ouaddar with Quickly de Kreisker (Diamant de Semilly). Second place went to Brazilian rider Marlon Mòdolo Zanotelli with Zerlin M and third place to Patrice Delaveau with Lacrimoso 3HDC. The rest of the top-ten was as follows:
