Longines Global Champions Tour: Luciana Diniz out to snatch tour leadership.

Luciana Diniz has sent a strong message to Longines Global Champions Tour leader Scott Brash ahead of today’s GP.
The tour has stopped off in Hamburg, Germany and the Portuguese horsewoman appears in fine form and looks like she might be able to cut the 10 point gap that separates her from leader Brash.
Yesterday, Diniz won the 1.50m trial against the clock following an intense battle with Italy’s Andre Sakakini. The former completed the course with nearly a 2 second advantage over her Italian rival with her mount Sakann.
Sakakini was competing with H.W.’s Saskia and settled for second place in front of Germany’s Andre Schroder with Caivano in third. Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano with Caspar 232 came in fourth. The other competition taking place yesterday in the build-up to today’s GP was a 1.50m trial in two phases. This was won by German rider David Will with his star performer from the European Championships in Herning Mic Mac du Tillard.
In second we find Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano with Cococshynsky while the final podium slot went to US rider Kent Farrington with Belle Fleur 38. See here for more: http://www.globalchampionstour.com/events/2015/hamburg/results/1261/class-04-hamburg-2015-csi5-150-m/
With those two trials behind us, the countdown can now begin to the LGCT GP presented by H&M set for today at 13.25. Emanuele Gaudiano with Cocoshynsky is carrying the flag for Italy and out to get his hands on the 300.000 euros in prize money.
