Major Montefalco event over Easter

There are three days to the start of the Technical Growth circuit which will include “The Lame Horses Sporting Club“ (Montefalco) from 14/16 April.The Umbrian organizing committee is preparing to welcome 350 horses for the Easter weekend, ensuring, again, free streaming coverage of the whole event after the success in March which had 2,500 hits a day.
The Zampolini family are organizing a special event and Nicola Zampolini.said: “We will respect the tradition with a typical Easter breakfast, accompanied by a native raisin wine, Vernaccia di Cannara.“There will be local products on view and traditional events throughout the period. The King Corvino of Hungary who stayed in Montefalco at the end of the fifteenth century and to recognize that a game will take place in the Piazza del Comune.
The contest involves two people with an egg apiece who have to hit the other without breaking their own.
Tourism and tradition aside, from Friday 14 to Sunday, April 16 350 pairs will be put to the test over a course designed by director Giovanni Racca. The highlight will be the Grand Prix over 145/150 metres scheduled for Sunday.
