The 2023 ESP Spring I Charity Horse Show Is Here

The Wellington Spring Series presented by Florida Coast Equipment, is this season’s best-kept secret! WEF amenities, lower show fees, relaxed schedules and competitions in the Wellington International feature show rings are a great value! The 2023 ESP Spring I Horse Show will get underway today, April 5.
Highlight classes include both the $10,000 1.40m Welcome Stake sponsored by Bainbridge Companies and the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby sponsored by Score at the Top to kick off competition starting on Thursday. The $5,000 1.35m Classic sponsored by Barnwalkers, the $1,000 2’6“ – 2’9“ Hunter Derby sponsored by SAS Equestrian, as well as the Medium and Highs will all go on Friday and the $35,000 Spring I Charity Grand Prix sponsored by Wellington Equestrian Realty and benefitting the A-T Children’s Project will close out competition for the week on Saturday. No classes with take place on Sunday, April 9th due to the Easter holiday.
Competition will continue the following week with Spring II, starting on Wednesday, April 12th, and will run through Sunday, April 16th. 
Spring II will feature the Inaugural Spring Equitation Championship; a new annual Equitation Final introduced to the ESP Spring Series. Invitations are automatically extended to any ribbon winners prior to April 2, 2023 of any 2022 ESP Holiday, 2023 Winter Equestrian Festival or Spring 1: USEF Hunt Seat Medal, ASPCA Maclay, USEF Talent Search or WIHS Overall, Hunter Phase or Jumper Phase equitation classes. Riders must be declared by 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 13th. A random order will be used to order the class. This championship is open to junior members only and offers a prize incentive for trainers.
