Market Moves: Champion of Picobello Z on its way to Valkenswaard.

Champion of Picobello Z (Contact vd Heffinck) was one of the most sought after horses from the last world championships for young horses held in Lanaken. Registered with Zangersheide, it is one of the prized assets raised by Picobello Horses, who after selling Check Picobello Z to Canada’s Eric Lamaze, have been active once again in another transfer market operation.
At the age of 5, Champion of Picobello Z was jointly-sold to Stal Joppen, owner of other Picobello horses such as Act of Picobello Z and Allaerd’s Dream Z (Aerbreaker). Now, the joint-owners have decided to sell the stallion who has been purchased (in a joint-operation) by Athina Onassis, stal Tops and stal Salvador.
The fee has not been revealed while the identity of its next rider is also a mystery. What we do know however is that Champion of Picobello Z will continue its training and development at Valkenswaard where it will be followed closely by Jan Tops.
