Mohammed wins British Endurance
The UAE endurance team was led to victory in a hotly-contested endurance race run of more than 166km at Euston Park in Britain on Tuesday by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.Following Sheikh Mohammed home in second place was Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum crossing the finish line in third.The race came as part of the UAE endurance team’s preparations for the World Endurance Championships to be held in Kentucky, United States, in September, where they will be led by Sheikh Mohammed.Competing in the race over five stages were 25 endurance riders representing Arab and European countries, in addition to American and Australian participants.
