Reporter hits horse with car
A television Equestrian World reporter has been arrested following a collision in New York between his car and a police horse. Mike Sheehan, 60, was arraigned on Tuesday and charged with reckless endangerment and operating a car while intoxicated and impaired. However, Sheehan claimed through his lawyer that the horse ran into his car in the Greenwich Village district of the city. The horse, named Manhattan, suffered cuts and bruises while the officer riding the animal suffered minor leg injuries.
