All the eyes of the equestrian world will be turning towards Gothenburg, which will be playing host to the last qualifying stage for the FEI World Cup final in Lyon.
There will be some key figures missing as announced just last week at the Hong Kong Masters. Penelope Leprevost won’t be present along with her fellow French nationals Patrice Delaveau and Roger Yves Bost, who have all qualified with a round to spare and have the chance to rest up and focus on other commitments.
Scott Brash, as the current leader of the World Cup and Longines standings, won’t be taking part either.
The Dutch trio of Gerco Schroder, Marc Houtzager and Harrie Smolders are not going to be present in Gothenburg, but will be in Lyon for the super final. The same applies for Christian Ahlmann.
