Teams gearing up for FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup in Barcelona.
The FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup is around the corner and the anticipation is rising in Barcelona. 19 of the best teams in the world will be set to do battle in the Catalan capital following the routine veterinary inspections.
Each nation has just one attempt to try and book their place in Saturday’s final in a one-round qualifier. The following will be aiming to achieve that and compete for the title: Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico, USA. Brazil and Venezuela will be representing the South American nations, whereas the Middle East’s representative is Qatar. Australia and Egypt make up the numbers in Barcelona.
It’s worth reminding however that some of the initial nations to qualify declined to take part in Barcelona. One of these was Jordan allowing Italy the chance to compete in the final while Japan’s decision not to take part handed Germany an opportunity to be present at one of the world’s most prestigious competitions.
