We will have to wait until the FEI Bureau meeting and FEI General Assembly on the 10th of November in Porto Rico to find out which of the three candidates will host the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final and Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final, scheduled for 2018.
USA and Sweden have both put themselves forwards and it wouldn’t be the first time hosting such a big event should one of those two be selected. The Scandinavium Arena in Sweden hosted the first show-jumping final in 1979 while Las Vegas are by now veterans of the highly prestigious event. However, the third candidate, France, are hoping to host the big event for the first time and have put forward the Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy arena.
