49th edition of National Horse Exhibition begins tomorrow.

A parade through the historic city-centre of Città di Castello takes place today to mark the 49th edition of the National Horse Exhibition.
The exhibition, which begins tomorrow, is one of the oldest in the sector in Italy and its origins date all the way back to Medieval times. In fact, with the exception of a brief period after the second world war, the exhibition has always entertained followers.
Ahead of the exhibition, a great tribute will be held this evening from 18.30 in Città di Castello with artists from the Gran Gala Night of the Stars making their way in a procession through the main streets of the historic city-centre. 60 horses and 14 carriages, along with cowboys and riders from the driving discipline, promise to make the parade truly spectacular.
The thoroughbred Arab horses meanwhile are also a major appeal of the parade and the very best from the Middle East will be on display as well as the best that Europe has to offer. To add to the spectacle, horses will be competing for the Ecahonica International Competition B title while fans will also be treated to the Egyptian Event; exclusively for Arab horses from Egypt.
