Arezzo Horse Festival gets underway on June 26

Arezzo will host the first great horse fair summer, the Arezzo Horse Festival will be held July 26 to 28 at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre.
The whole city of Arezzo will be involved with a large parade through the streets of the historic centre which will also directly involve the citizens, and that will take place on Friday, June 26 at 18.00.
The Arezzo Horse Festival is a unique event of its kind, in which disciplines such as American riding will be on show with the great Olympic disciplines such as show jumping.
Much space dedicated to children who can interact with the animals in a real petting zoo with cows, donkeys, horses and sheep, not to mention the possibility to get in the saddle and also, thanks to Mipaaf (Ministry of Agriculture , Food and Forestry) 500 show jumping horses and another 100 endurance mounts will be on display.
There is also a breeding section, with classes for young horses as well as morphology and free jumping.
Forty animals including horses and cows will parade in the main squares of Arezzo during the presentation ceremony of this new event that further enriches the calendar of events at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre, which already boasts the presence in its structure of events such as the Tuscany Tour and the CSIO Arezzo San Marino. There will also be archery and falconry on horseback.
Among the participating associations will be the Maremma La Forra, the only traditional cowboy riders in Italy.
