Azzurri head to Dublin for FEI Nations Cup

The FEI Nations Cup is heading to Dublin for the final leg of the season before the grand finale in Barcelona.
So far it has been a positive season for Italy who have claimed big wins in Rome and St. Gallen as well as strong finishes in Lummen, Rotterdam and Falsterbo.
Those results mean the Azzurri find themselves leading the way in the overall standings on 345 points ahead of Holland who are on 335 points and Switzerland who are on 330 points.
And the Dublin leg holds positive memories for the Azzurri who came out on top last year and will be hoping for a repeat.
The Dublin leg is crucial to also determine which teams will be going through to the final in Barcelona at the end of September.
For the event, Italy have named the following squad: Bruno Chimirri, Emanuele Massimiliano Bianchi, Juan Carlos Garcia, Giulia Martinengo Marquet and Luigi Polesello.
In other Equestrian World from Dublin, riders will also be in action in a number of other events such as The Speed Stakes and The Sport Ireland Classic.
