Belgium in the driving seat at European Youth Championships

Belgium are leading the way in the Young Riders category in the show-jumping at the European Youth Championships in Samorin.
The team led by Rik Deraedt amassed just 7 points to put themselves in the driving seat going into the second round of the competition.
Following behind in second are Great Britain while Italy are still in the running too and find themselves in third place. In action for the Azzurri are: Michele Previtali, Tommaso Gerardi, Matias Alvaro and Guido Franchi.
The teams in the Young Riders category will be back in action later today at 16.00 for the second and decisive round to determine the champion.
