Ben Maher, first winner in Paris

The first winner of the 5th edition of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping is English Olympic champion Ben Maher who rode Don Vito, a 10-year-old Dutch gelding. This is not really a first for him in Paris, but this victory is important to start his competition: “Paris is a great city to be in and I have always been lucky on this show in the past. I hope this is a good sign for the weekend. I rode Don Vito only once or twice in the beginning of the year, he has been with Emily Moffitt for a few months now and I just borrowed him for the weekend to help with the other horse. We ride for the same owner, Poden Farms, so we sometimes switch horses. Luckily for me he is a very fast horse.“
