Brash takes the honours in London

Scott Brash claimed victory in the Longines FEI World Cup show jumping event at the London International Horse Show.The British rider finished with 38.63 points after a clear round on Hello M’lady. His compatriot Ben Maher took second place on Diva II with 38.85 while Belgian Nicola Philippaerts came third on BWP H&M Harley vd Bisschop  (Dulf van de Bisschop) in 39.07.Italy’s Lorenzo De Luca on Limestone Grey, had 4 penalties to finish sixth. There was also a good result for Piergiorgio Bucci, 10th on 8 pens riding Casallo Z.Full list:  http://www.longinestiming.com/!/equestrian/2016/1271/html/en/longinestiming/resultlist_20.html In the overall World Cup standing De Luca is on 53 points just behind leader Kevin Staut on 56 with Steve Guerdat third on 44 followed by Romain Duguet on 43 and in 5th Marcus Ehning on 41.
As for the Italians Alberto Zorzi 26th with 20 points while in 29th is Piergiorgio Bucci on 20 and just inside the top 50 is Gianni Govoni in 48th on 11 points.On Sunday, Daniel Deusser won the Olympia Grand Prix in London ahead of Edwina Alexander-Tops in second and Brash in third.
