Bertram Allen, David Will and Denis Lynch have all made great starts to the Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes.
The latter won yesterday’s main event, the Prix E.Le Clerc over 1.55m, with an extraordinary All Star 5 and finished ahead of Maikel van der Vleuten and Daniel Deusser who were second and third respectively.
Bertram Allen and David Will meanwhile both shared the spoils in Thursday’s thrilling opening trial, the Prix BMW Bayern Avenue, over 1.45m.
In rainy conditions, the two riders cleared the course in the same time to take the win. Allen was in action with Quite Easy whereas his German rival was competing with Mic Mac du Tillard.
Pedro Veniss claimed the final podium slot in a trial that also involved the likes of Simon Delestre, Maikel van der Vleuten and Daniel Deusser.
