Catanzaro capital of 6 star Show Jumping
The city of Catanzaro will host the Six star National Equestrian Event from June 23rd to the 28th. The event will bring the city into good light as riders from all over Italy will be participating (the waiting list is long after organisers were inundated with requests to compete) for what should be a spectacular event.The competition will take place in the ‘Valle dei Mulini’, a newly built centre for equestrian sports built by the Park of Biodiversity that will be inaugurated for the occasion.The paperwork for the event was presented to the ‘Home of Culture’ and its president, Wanda Ferro on Saturday morning by the honourable Michele Traversa (inventor and head of the organising committee), the president of the region of the Italian Federation of Equestrian sports Roberto Egidio Cardona, from the provincial president of the Coni (The Italian Olympic committee) as well as the police commander, Marcello Mazzuca. Cardona, head of the FISE, declared that he was delighted and proud to have brought Calabria and show jumping back into the limelight with what is the biggest equestrian competition in the south of Italy.
