CAVALIADA Poznań: Wiraszka for the third time
The TRAF Eventing Tour, for the prize of Cavallia Estate, ended with the win of Jakub Wiraszka with Corrnero, consolidating his position as leader of the ranking. In the Speed & Music competition for the prize of Poznań Airport – Ławica and Fly Dubai, Angelos Touloupis with Kannandillo triumphed.
In the TRAF Eventing Tour competition, the course demanded extreme precision and a fast pace. The time allowed was also a challenge. The riders could not calculate their approaches very well and were met with surprises in the first round. Six paris advanced to the second one. The situation on the track changed fast, with one rider after another improving their result. Firstly, Daria Kobiernik with Ideal Girl established a clear lead, but then she was overtaken by Jakub Wiraszka riding Corrnero, as well as the last to go – Julia Gillmaier with Ding Dong. The ride of the latter rider was truly spectacular. We all saw how well experienced Julia is in high-ranking Eventing. On the one hand, she took risks, but she also rode very sensibly. Her effort to overtake Jakub Wiraszka lacked very little – hundredths of a second.
“My horse felt perfect during today’s competition. All the distances, also the distances in the warm-up came out very well for us. It certainly gave me more confidence. I think that Julia Gillmaier and I should both have come first, because three hundredths of a second is a very small difference in the competition. What determined my victory? At the beginning I was afraid of how Paweł Warszawski would ride, but he had an accidental knockdown – the strongest link in this competition was out, which increased my chances. Then there was Filip, Aśka, Julka, Aurelia – all of them who entered the second round were very strong. It was hard to win against them,” concluded Jakub Wiraszka.
The Eventing competition shows how much excitement the public can experience at the CAVALIADA. In this sport, success is determined by the mutual trust between rider and horse. From this relationship comes harmony and flow while overcoming obstacles on the course.
In the TRAF Eventing Tour ranking after the fourth stage, Jakub Wiraszka is the leader. Second place is held by Julia Gillmaier and third place by Aurelia Drywa.

The Speed & Music competition, for the prize of Poznań Airport – Ławica and Fly Dubai, under the patronage of the Marshal of Wielkopolskie Voivodship Marek Woźniak, was lucky for the well-known CAVALIADA rider Angelos Touloupis from Greece with Kannandillo. Second place went to Jonathan Gordon from Ireland with CBI Karhari and third place – to Kristaps Neretnieks from Latvia with Came On.
