Charlotte Dujardin rode to triumph in Mount St John Freestyle’s second international Grand Prix. The nine-year-old mare oozed quality throughout and made no major mistakes as the duo finished ahead of the riders mentor, Carl Hester. Dujardin has great expectations of her young mare, aiming to ride her to Tokyo 2020, and the thrilling performance will have done pair wonders as they were awarded a score of 18-58% by the judges. Carl Hester’s horse Hawthins Delicato was also facing his second Grand Prix, and might be called up to the England squad for the WEG in Tryon in September. The podium as completed by a third Brit: Richard Davison, riding Bubblingh. Hayley Watson-Greaves, on Rubins Nite, finished fourth, while Gareth Hughes, on Don Carissimo, finished sixth. Press Release Royal Windsor Horse ShowPhoto: Charlotte Dujardin GBR Mount St John Freestyle courtesy of RWHS 2018
