Concourse Hippique International elected best horse show in the world
Geneva’s Concourse Hippique International has been voted the best competition in the world. Last year it was local Italian competition San Patrignano to win the honour of best event in show jumping but the prize this year has gone to Switzerland.
For the dressage event, the award went to Germany and Aix La Chapelle, which is more well known as Aachen.
In other Equestrian World, the two winners of the previous stages of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping CHI Geneva (www.rolexgrandslam.com) Nick Skelton (Aachen) and Pieter Devos (Calgary) can challenge for a part of the prize fund: for the British rider a victory would be worth 250 thousand Euros, while the Belgian rider, who is close to two consecutive victories, could instead pocket 500 thousand euros.
