CSI5* Basle: Gaudiano on a roll.

Emanuele Gaudiano simply shows no signs of slowing down.
The Italian is enjoying a great season and jumped his way to another victory yesterday with Cocoshynsky in the medium trial at the 5 star event in Switzerland.
Gaudiano was lightning fast once again with a time of 48.86 seconds, finishing in front of the great Kevin Staut who had to settle for second place with Ayade de Septon Et Hdc after a time of 49.72. Britain’s Laura Renwick, competing with Heliodor Hybris, claimed the final podium slot.
Unfortunately for fellow Italian Piergiorgio Bucci, things didn’t go quite as well and the two errors with  Heartbreaker v. Achterhoe left him in 44th place. As for Luca Maria Moneta and Bonheur, they had to retire.
Finally, and in the main competition of the day, worth points towards the Longines rankings, Staut took first place with Elly van het Indhof HDC. Spain’s Sergio Alvarez Moya came in second place and Sweden’s Rolf Goran Bentsson third. No Italian riders were classified.
