CSI5* Helsinki Horse Show: yesterday’s results ahead of FEI World Cup.

Ahead of the second leg of the FEI World Cup, which takes place later today, let’s round-up the latest results from Helsinki which is proving to be a happy hunting ground for the Dutch riders.
Yesterday, Leopold van Asten rode his way to victory in the Helsinki GP with VDL Groep Quinthago Z (Quinar) while we find German duo Daniel Deusser and Hans-Dieter in second and third place respectively. There was another success for Holland in the Helsinki Classic over 1.50m and against the clock. This time it was Jur Vrieling with Arezzo VDL (Chin Chin) taking first place to finish ahead of home rider Anna-Julia Kontio in second and Germany’s Daniel Deusser in third. The 5 star competition over 1.40m with joker on the other hand was won by Hans-Dieter Dreher with Callisto (Casall). Following behind in second we find Sweden’s Jonna Ekberg and in third Spanish rider Eduardo Alvarez Aznar. As for the Italian riders, Luca Maria Moneta came in sixth place,  Lorenzo De Luca tenth and Emanuele Gaudiano one place behind in 11th. It paves the way nicely for the highly anticipated FEI World Cup which gets going later this afternoon at 15.45.
