CSI5* Saut Hermes

To take place on the 15th to 17th April 2011 at the Grand Palais in Paris, the second edition of the CSI5* Saut Hermes, sponsored by the prestigious French Maison. The competition will be organized by GL events, partner of Hermès for this event. The top 35 riders in the world will participate in this 5 star tournament. Riders to beat are Kevin Staut (number one ranking in the world) and Pénélope Leprévost (number 2 among female riders), champions of the original category “Le Saut d’Hermès“. Also German Marcus Ehning (number 4 in the world), winner of the GP Hermès in 2010. The challengers will be of the highest order in the Parisian show jumping festival where fans can admire the undisputed queen of show jumping Meredith Michaels Beerbaum, the multi award winning Michel Robert who will take to the field with the formidable Kellemoi de Pepita and among the others will be Simon Delestre (FRA), Eric Lamaze (CAN), Rolf-Goran Bengtsson (SWE), Edwina Alexander (AUS), Pilar Cordon e Sergio Alvarez Moya (SPA), Beezie Madden (USA) and Luciana Diniz from Portugal. This CSI5* tournament will also include the important category  “Les Talents Hermès“, dedicated to the under 25s. The best 14 young riders in the world will compete in the three events of the category, choosing a female partner from their country from the participants in the CSI5*, who will have the job of following and assisting them in the three days of the race. In this category two Italian riders will participate, Eleonora Zorzetto and Lorenzo De Luca.
