CSIO4* Copenhagen: The First Horse races are finished, the Grand Prix goes to Schuttert (HOL)

The First Horse Grand Prix 2012 has finished, which took place at Bernstorff park in Copenhagen, Denmark. On Friday Giovanni Consorti came in fourth in the First Horse Cup, a timed category with 1.45m obstacles. On Holsteiner, born in 2003 from the Cocodrillo team, he finished in 63.56. First place went to Spain’s Eduardo Blanco Martin on Nouvel Star du Lozon, in second Briatin’s John Clayton on Campini and in third Holland’s Dominique Roelofsen on S Umonia I. Another Italian, Andrea Bracci, finished 14th on Ehrnan de la Cometa. For Alessia Marioni and Alina van de Krnelishoeve, four penalties in total.
On Saturday, Giovanni Consorti finished in 10th without penalties on the obstacles, on Italian horse Silverstras. It was a trial for the Basisbank Trophy, a 1.50m with Jump-Off. German Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking on Quartz Z won, while there were four penalties for Andrea Braccion Ehrnan de la Cometa. The First Horse Grand Prix was won by Holland’s Hendrik-Jan Schuttert on Cerona HS, who finished ahead of Britain’s Jon Clee Diablesse de Muze. Then came Ireland’s Trevor Coyle on Jubilee D’Ouilly. The best of the Italians was Alberto Zorzi on Maestro de Tivoli; the pair finished in 13th.
