Equestrian World is reaching us from Holland over the sale of Patrick van der Meer’s prized asset Uzzo.
The pair were European Champions with the national side, but will be torn apart after Uzzo was sold to a young rider whose identity is yet to be revealed. The only thing we do know however is that the horse will be staying in Holland.
Uzzo comes from the renowned KWPN studbook, is 14 years of age and its sale was carried out via Carolyn Koojman. It represents a major loss for Patrick van der Meer who was counting on using the positive momentum from the European Championships at the Olympic Games in Rio.
