Driving: 4 in a row for Mack Grace Sm in Taranto?

The horse that goes by the name of Mack Grace Sm will be under the spotlight today and looking for its fourth consecutive win in the “Premio dei Due Mari” at the Paolo VI racetrack in Taranto. Based on recent performances at the start of the month in the Lotteria and the Città di Treviso trials, the result seems a given. It all means that the Daponte family, who own this marvelous horse, could well be taking their place once again at the award ceremony later on in Taranto.
The other 7 pretenders for the victory though will clearly try and make life difficult for Mack and driver Roberto Andreghetti. The surprise may come in the form of Phantom with the shrewd Giuseppe Pietro Maisto or Poggio who arrives from Sicily convinced of having its say. Naples will also be represented by Positano d’etè entrusted to driver Mario Minopoli while Neander Jet with Gallucci can’t be ruled out after some solid performances of late. One thing is for certain however; Mack Grace Sm remains the one to beat. (Brudel)
