Endurance: Laliscia crowned national champion

Italy’s Costanza Laliscia has won the Italian national championship in the endurance discipline thanks to a second place finish at the HH Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup Festival.
The international tour, which will later head to GB, Slovakia and Spain, took place in Pisa, Tuscany and also acted as the Italian championship with the Italian starlet taking the spoils.
Just 16 years old, Laliscia finished in second spot with Amah (MRM Stables) behind the overall winner Sheik Hamed Dalmook Al Maktoum.
Riding is certainly a family affair seeing as the teenage horsewoman’s father Gianluca was world champion in 2006 in the team event.
The rider’s latest result shows she is on the right track to follow in her father’s footsteps.
