The dressage world titles for young horses were assigned over the weekend in Ermelo.
Last Saturday, Fiontini claimed a third straight title – this year in the 7 year-old category – while the following day the winners in the 5 and 6 year-old categories were announced.
Claiming the top prize in the five year-old category was the favourite Don Martillo who was in action with German horsewoman Ann-Christin Wienkamp.
The duo delighted the judges with their performance and with a score of 9.74 claimed the world crown. In second place meanwhile there was Old Ferrari while the last podium slot went to Hesselhoej Donjey Boy.
