Eventing: Germany steal the show.

The CICO 3* Fontainebleau and first leg of the eventing FEI Nations Cup came to a close on Sunday with Germany and its riders stealing the limelight.
First place went to the German star Michael Jung with La Biosthetique Sam F and he also took second spot with Fischerrocana Fst. German horsewoman Sandra Auffarth was third with Opgun Louvo and completed the clean sweep of the podium for Germany.
Italy’s best performer was Arianna Schivo with Quafira de L’Ormeau who earned a 25th place finish overall. Fellow Italian Clelia Casiraghi was 50th with Verdi while in 56th place we find Rebecca Chiappero with Quilando Z.
Team Italy on the other hand came seventh in the Nations Cup. Germany came first followed by France and Ireland in second and third respectively.
