Federico Roman to lead Olympic challenge
The Italian Equestrian Sport Federation has circulated the names of the new staff.Sitting at the top seat will be Federico Roman who will lead the nation to the Olympic Games in London.Roman (in the photo by CIO from 1980) is of course a great Italian rider who was born in Trieste in 1952 and gained great success at various Olympic Games:Fourth in Montreal 1976 team event

Gold 1980 Moscow individual
Silver 1980 team eventAlongside Roman will be Katherine Ferguson Lucheschi who will be head of the Seniors and selectors, Francesco Girardi (Juniors and Young Riders) and Giuseppe Della Chiesa, new head of events, calendars and coaching delegates as well as Eventing.
