FEI World Cup in Lyon the pick of the weekend events.
Let’s look ahead to the main show-jumping events taking place this week, starting with the third leg of the FEI World Cup which stops off in Lyon, France.
After last year’s leg, won by the home rider Roger-Yves Bost with Qoud’Coeur de la Loge, expectations are naturally high amongst the French fans.
But before the World Cup action, there have already been a series of competitions while tomorrow will also see the start of the CDI5* trials for the Dressage Reem Acra World Cup. For the five star show-jumping however, fans will have to wait until Friday the 30th of October and the Prix Region Rhone Alpes over 1.50m.
Flying the flag for Italy in Lyon meanwhile will be Lorenzo De Luca (Erco van t Roosakker, Zoe II), Emanuele Gaudiano (Caspar 232, Guess 6) and Giulia Martinengo Marquet (Fixdesign Istafan Sissi). De Luca (Halifax vh Kluizebos) and Martinengo (Fine Edition) will also be in action for the CSI reserved to young horses while Luca Meschini (Accura van de Meersen Z) in the complementary CSI 2.
