Finnish Rider Elena Hietanen Wins Qualifier at European Pony Championships

With no errors and a time of 36.81, young Finnish rider Elena Hietanen, riding 14 yuear old Adalmin’s Secret, won the first qualifier at the European Pony Championships at the Jaszkowo Hipika Centre in Poland. The speed of her round forced Irish rider Bertram Allen on Acapella Z into second place with a time of 69.4. Third place was claimed by Belgian Evy Morssinkhof on nine year old Irish pony Ballyowen Maybell Molly in a time of 70.23. Italian rider Matilde Faverio came in tenth place on Miss Ennis with a time of 72.56.
