Following El Jadida’s upgrade to CSI5*W and CSI2*, Rabat and Tetouan also move up from 1* to 2*

Morocco Royal Tour 2026

The Morocco Royal Tour continues its development for the 2026 edition, marked by an overall upgrade across the entire circuit.

Following the recent announcement that El Jadida will now host CSI5*W and CSI2* competitions, Tetouan and Rabat legs will also take a new step forward with the transformation of their CSI1* classes into CSI2* events, alongside the CSI4*W competitions already on the schedule. This evolution reflects the Morocco Royal Tour’s ongoing commitment to continuously strengthening the sporting level of the tour, while offering more opportunities for riders and their horses. The new CSI2* format will notably allow riders to compete with younger or developing horses alongside their top horses entered in the CSI4*W. This approach supports both the sporting development of the horses within a high-level environment and the overall quality of the sport. Among the highlights of the CSI2* competitions will be a 1.45m Grand Prix, further confirming the sporting ambition and growing attractiveness of the different legs of the circuit. With this new momentum, the Morocco Royal Tour further consolidates its status as a leading tour combining sporting excellence, high-quality organisation, and the international influence of the Kingdom of Morocco on the global equestrian stage. See you in Tetouan, Rabat and El Jadida for a 2026 edition that promises to be one of the most competitive and spectacular in the history of the circuit.
