Gaudiano makes bright start to Valence Jumping International

The third edition of the Valence Jumping International is officially underway.
The first competition, the CSI5* Prix Mercedes Benz, was won by Julien Epaillard with Safari d’Auge. In second spot we find Ireland’s Michael Duffy with Millfield Ultymate whilst the final podium slot went to Laura Renwick with Dominant H.
As for the Italian representatives, Giulia Martinengo Marquet finished 19th overall with Kiwi Kick whereas Alberto Zorzi committed an error in the second stage with California. Piergiorgio Bucci, Francesca Ciriesi and Emanuele Gaudiano were also in action for Italy but like Zorzi committed errors in the second stage of the competition.
The main competition of the day meanwhile went to Beezie Madden of the USA. Madden was competing with Breitling LS to take the spoils in a time of 65.32 seconds.
There was an excellent second place finish though for Azzurri star Emanuele Gaudiano who registered a time of 66.10 seconds with Chalou. Ben Maher was third with the 12 year-old Diva II.
The other Italian taking part was Giulia Martinengo Marquet and the Azzurri rider came 11th with Fine Edition.
