It was a day for victory at the 3*, with Emanuele Bianchi demonstrating he was in good form winning the Gold Tour at Arezzo just before another Italian won at Lanaken, Emanuele Gaudiano in the Z Tour on the 10-year-old Caesario 6 (Cornet Obolensky) owned by Thomas Sagel.
Julien Epaillard on Mister Davier (Quiniou) was just behind, 53.96 for the Azzurro to 55.77 for the French rider.
Third post went to Lennon Dermott on Vampire (Andiamo).
