Global Champions Tour hits Vienna

The city of dreams. That is one way to call the Austrian capital, Vienna, where the Global Champions Tour stops off this weekend.The event will take place in the elegant setting of the Rathausplatz (the square of the Town Hall), with the 27 castle’s providing a gorgeous background along with all the other historical buildings of the city. The csI5* event starts on Thursday at 5pm with the qualifying rounds of the 1.45m. At the moment Laura Kraut still tops the GCT standings. Prize winnings are in the region of 500,000 euro – plus the 300,00 for the GP on Saturday evening – and big crowds are expected throughout the weekend.
