Global Champios Tour: Doha prepares for inaugural event of 2011 season

After the success of the 2009 final in Doha, the countdown for the opening event of the Global Champions Tour 2011 is ticking down. Qatar is confirmed as a nation that puts emphasis on international sport, but also growth of local talent. The best horse and rider combinations will take part in the Qatar Equestrian Federation Outdoor Arena di Al Rayan from March 17 – 19. The prize money for the Grand Prix GTC, the key event for the three days, which will be held on the Sunday, amounts to 475thousand euro. The competition starts at 18,45, and will be shown on Eurosport.
