Gotha FRH brings career to an end

The curtain has come down on the career of Gotha FRH, the 15 year-old sorrel from Goldfever x Prestige Pilot, who has enjoyed a glittering career with both Ludger Beerbaum and Henrik von Eckermann.
Gotha FRH’s retirement was announced by Ludger Beerbaum via facebook. Together they won a gold medal at the 2011 Euros and finished as runners up at the 2010 FEI World Cup.
In 2013 the horse was handed to Beerbaum’s understudy Henrik von Eckermann of Sweden and the duo also collected a number of impressive results together winning the CSI5* Longines Masters Hong Kong GP in 2014.
The Swede has led the tributes saying that his most important successes are owed to the horse.
