
Grand Palais to host the CSI5* Saut Hermès

The moment has come for the CSI5* Saut Hermès event, held in the striking and suggestive Grand Palais arena in Paris which always lives up to its expectations. A lengthy list of international riders will take to the field from tomorrow with the competition scheduled right through to Sunday the 16th of March.
Amongst the rider list are the Germans Christian Ahlmann, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Marcus Ehning and the representative from the Beerbaum Team, Marco Kutscher. Ireland is also well represented in the form of the phenomenal talent of Allen Bertram and his senior mentor Billy Twomey, who are also joined by Cameron Hanley and Jessica Kurten. The Dutch riders will also be looking to stake their claim with Maikel van der Vleuten, Harrie Smolders, Marc Houtzager and Jeroen Dubbeldam. There are just 2 riders from Switzerland but they are of the highest quality in the form of Pius Schwizer and Janika Sprunger. From Ukraine Katharina Offel is taking part while the US hopes lie in the hands of the super Reed Kessler.

The action begins tomorrow soon after the final veterinary tests at 12.30 with the CSI5* Prix du Grand Palais from 1.45m in two phases.
This is followed by the competition reserved to the Under 25 category, while the final competition of the day is the timed Prix Hermès Sellier from 1.50m.
