Great day of hunting at Cuzzago near Verbano
A field consisting of more than thirty participants, including riders under the command of MFH Bi.Litta Modignani Honorary Wipper-in.
Leopoldo Cicogna Mozzoni and Filippo Pirera and Field Master Carlo Severgnini galloped back to the pack of 7 and ½ pairs of fox hounds for over two hours on the excellent hunting land of Cuzzago.
The day was not the best, classic autumn Lombardy weather, low sky and cover that hid the peaks of Nibbio, even if the rain that has characterized the past few days had ceased at the time of the departure.
The sandy soils offered softness under foot but along Lake Maggiore the going was less heavy than expected which had no affect in the brilliance of the hunt.
Fours brought a satisfied day to a close and has the hunters retired to the restaurant for the ritual “agape“ just as the first drops of rain started to fall.
